Morocco's Atlantic Resort Capital
Agadir is Morocco's premier beach resort, built around a magnificent 10-kilometre sweep of golden sand lapped by the Atlantic. Rebuilt from scratch after a devastating 1960 earthquake, the modern city is well-planned and easy to navigate — a comfortable contrast to Morocco's ancient medinas. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, warm winters and a reliable Atlantic breeze, Agadir attracts millions of visitors annually, particularly from Europe.
The surrounding Souss-Massa region rewards exploration. Taghazout — 20 km north — is one of Africa's top surf destinations, a former fishing village now globally famous for breaks like Anchor Point and Hash Point. Imsouane, 75 km further, hosts the world's longest rideable right-hand wave. Inland, the fortified Berber city of Taroudant offers an authentic, quieter alternative to Marrakech, while the Anti-Atlas Mountains provide spectacular trekking and photography day trips.
Agadir Al Massira Airport (AGA) is 8 km from the city centre — one of Morocco's major airports with direct flights from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and beyond. Our drivers serve every hotel, resort and surf camp in the Agadir region, from the beachfront boulevard to remote surf guesthouses along the N1 coastal road.

BookGetting Around Agadir – What to Know
Agadir's layout is straightforward — the city beach runs north-south, the airport is to the south-east, and the main resort hotels line the Boulevard de la Corniche. Unlike Marrakech or Fez, there is no labyrinthine medina — getting around by taxi is simple and fast.
The surf coast stretching from Agadir north to Imsouane is served by the N1 — a winding but well-maintained coastal road with stunning sea views. Taghazout is 25 minutes from the airport, Imsouane is just over an hour. Our vans transport surfboards at no extra charge — just mention your boards when booking.
For day trips to Marrakech or Essaouira, private taxi is by far the most comfortable option — direct, door-to-door, with stops whenever you like. The bus is slow and the train does not serve Agadir.
